1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email, phone number, password (stored as a secure hash), and company details for Employers.
• Candidate profile data: resume/CV files, skills, work experience, education, projects, certificates, and other information you choose to add to your profile.
• Employer/company data: company profile, branches, GST and other verification documents, subscription and billing details.
• Usage data: pages visited, jobs viewed/applied to, and similar interaction data used to operate and improve the Platform.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate core features — matching Candidates with job listings, letting Employers review applicants, and processing subscriptions.
• To send you emails such as job alerts (only if you've opted in), account notifications, and invoices.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms & Conditions.
• Where you use optional AI-assisted features (such as resume parsing), the relevant content is processed by a third-party AI provider strictly to extract the information you requested to be extracted, and is not used to build a public profile of you elsewhere.

3. Sharing of Information

Candidate resumes and application details are shared only with the Employer(s) to whom you have applied. We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:

• Payment gateway providers (Razorpay, PhonePe, Cashfree, or similar) solely to process your payments.
• Optional third-party integrations you explicitly connect, such as LinkedIn, for the specific purpose you connected them.
• Service providers who help us operate the Platform (e.g. hosting, email delivery), bound by confidentiality obligations.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

5. Your Choices

• You can update or delete most profile information directly from your dashboard.
• Candidates can opt out of job-alert emails at any time from their profile settings.
• You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as encrypted password storage and access controls) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at individuals under the legal working age in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
